Alabama State-level Resources
  • Alabama Career Center: A network of physical centers across the state offering free employment services to job seekers and businesses, including resume building, job counseling, and interview facilities.
  • AlabamaWorks: A statewide platform that unifies workforce training, placement, and informational resources for job seekers, employers, students, and veterans. It provides access to opportunities for training and employment.
  • Alabama State Personnel Department: The official site for finding and applying for state government jobs.
  • Alabama Department of Labor: Offers resources for job seekers, including labor market information and assistance with finding local career centers.
  • Alabama Community College System: Provides various training and workforce development programs through its colleges, such as the Alabama Career Essentials (ACE) program which helps with job-specific skills.
  • AIDT: An agency that provides workforce training, including programs designed to equip individuals with skills needed for Alabama's industries.

Alaska State-level Resources
  • Alaska Job Center Network: Access the online portal through myAlaska to find jobs, create a profile, and search for positions. The network also provides in-person support at local job centers for resume building, mock interviews, and job application assistance.
  • Alaska Department of Labor: This department provides a variety of resources for job seekers, including information on training programs and apprenticeships.
  • AlaskaJobs: This is the state's online hiring platform, which allows job seekers to post resumes and employers to search for qualified local professionals.
  • Training Programs: The state offers various training programs to help individuals acquire new skills. Resources include the Alaska Vocational Technical Center (AVTEC), the Alaska Construction Academies (ACA), and programs funded through federal initiatives like the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).

Arizona State-level Resources
  • ARIZONA@WORK / AZ Job ConnectionSearch and apply for jobs.Build and post resumes. Get connected to career counselors, training, and apprenticeship programs. Employment services include interview prep, job referrals, assessments, and more. You can also book virtual workforce specialist appointments.
  • Pipeline AZExplore job openings by industry (IT, healthcare, construction, etc.)Do a skills assessment to find good-fit career paths. Learn about training and credential programs in AZ. Very useful if you’re thinking about career change or upgrading your skills.
  • Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA)Administered in AZ via the Department of Economic Security (DES). Arizona Department of Economic Security.Provides funding for training, education, and job search support. Arizona Department of Economic Security. If eligible, you could access subsidized training or credential programs via ARIZONA@WORK.

Arkansas State-level Resources
  • Arkansas Division of Workforce Services – Jobseeker ServicesThe state’s main workforce development portal. Through this, you can locate your local Arkansas Workforce Center to access free services like job search assistance, resume help, training, labor market info, apprenticeship info, and even GED / adult education resources.
  • Arkansas Workforce CentersPhysical “one-stop” career centers located throughout the state. At these centers, you can get in-person help with job placement, interviewing, resume writing, computers / internet access, and more, all at no cost.
  • Arkansas JobLinkArkansas’ official online job-matching system. You can create a job-seeker account, build and post resumes, run advanced job searches, set alerts, and find training or apprenticeship opportunities.
  • WIOA – Workforce Innovation & Opportunity ActA federally funded program that provides job seekers with access to training, education, and supportive services. WIOA helps pay for occupational training, apprenticeships, and can assist with other barriers like transportation or childcare
  • Reemployment Services (RESEA)If you’re collecting unemployment insurance, you may be selected for RESEA, which offers one-on-one support with a reemployment specialist. They help you create a career action plan, research the labor market, and build a resume — all to help you return to work faster.
  • Arkansas Unemployment Insurance (UI) ClaimsThe official portal for filing unemployment claims in Arkansas. This includes initial claims, weekly claim submissions, identity verification, and options for payment (direct deposit or debit card).
  • WDiscover Arkansas – Labor Market DataA labor market information tool run by the Arkansas Department of Commerce. You can pull up data like wage rates, employment trends, occupational projections, and demographic breakdowns to make informed career decisions.
  • Workforce Policy & Innovation (Arkansas Department of Commerce)This division oversees labor market research, policy planning, and workforce strategy in Arkansas. Their work helps align training programs, economic development efforts, and workforce needs using data and innovation

California State-Level Resources
  • EDDThe California Employment Development Department (EDD) runs a “Jobs & Training” portal that provides no-cost employment services through the America’s Job Center of California (AJCC) network. Services include job search help, resume support, labor market information, training referrals, and career counseling.
  • CalJOBSCalifornia’s official online job-matching system. Job seekers can create an account, build and post a resume, search job listings, see training providers, set job alerts, and more. CalJOBS is tightly integrated with workforce services across the state.
  • America’s Job Center of California (AJCC) / Local Workforce CentersAJCC locations (also called “one-stop career centers”) are spread throughout the state and provide in-person services like skills assessments, training referrals, on-the-job training, GED or basic skills help, and career planning.
  • California Workforce Development Board (CWDB)The CWDB sets workforce policy and strategy for the state. It helps oversee the delivery of services through local workforce boards, supports job quality initiatives, and runs statewide workforce programs.
  • Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) — CaliforniaThrough WIOA, the state provides funding and support for job seekers to access career counseling, training, education, and employment services. This includes help for unemployed workers, laid-off workers, and others needing to re-skill.
  • Training Resources for Job SeekersA portal for free or low-cost training options, including GED/basic education, vocational training, on-the-job training, and apprenticeship programs. This also includes an “Eligible Training Provider List” so you can find approved schools or programs in your area.
  • Job Fairs & WorkshopsThe EDD organizes (and partners with AJCCs to host) regular job fairs and career workshops — both in person and virtual — where job seekers can meet employers, learn about hiring trends, and get help with resumes and interview prep
  • Statewide Training Unit (STU) CatalogA catalog of free training programs offered to workforce partners (and job-seeker-serving organizations) funded under WIOA. Topics include workforce development fundamentals, coaching, and how to use CalJOBS.
  • California Conservation CorpsA program for young adults (typically 18–25, up to 29 for veterans) to gain paid work experience in environmental conservation, disaster response, land restoration, and related fields. Offers a pathway into public-sector or conservation-focused jobs.

Colorado State-Level Resources
  • Connecting ColoradoThis is Colorado’s primary online platform for job seekers. You can create or upload a resume, search and apply for jobs, explore training opportunities, and use career-planning tools. It also offers match scoring so you can see how well you line up with job postings.
